Construction Site: PJOE, Penglai Jutao Offshore Engineering Heavy Industry Co., Ltd.
QMW Qingdao Wuchuan McDermott Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd.
Project Details: The Olefin Facility Module Project, which mandates compliance with U.S. ASTM standards. All H-beams used in the project must meet Z-direction performance requirements. Notably, all products are manufactured by Laiwu Steel—currently the only steelmaker worldwide with the capability to mass-produce H-beams exhibiting superior Z-direction performance.
Main materials supplied: ASTM A572 GR50 medium-to-thick plates and ASTM A992 H-shaped steel.
Supply quantities: 25,000 tons of medium-to-thick plates and 15,500 tons of H-beams
Supply cycle: September 2019 – July 2020
